Samir Abdo started his aviation career in 1997 as one of the founder members of 748 Air Services Ltd in Kenya. Seven Four Eight Air Services (K) Ltd is an aviation company registered in Kenya and offering air charter services to the humanitarian and natural resource sectors. Our services are spread across the greater East African region with operational bases in Nairobi, Lokichogio and Juba- South Sudan. 748 Clients include: UN WFP, UN Peace Keeping New York ECHO and IOM. 748 owns and operates a fleet of 14 aircrafts comprising of Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, Bombardier Dash 8 100 and Cessna Grand Caravan. Samir Abdo joined Seven Four Eight Air Services in October 1997 where he supported the team of founding members in Logistics and Operations. He grew in ranks over the years and later set up the Operations Control Centre (OCC) which he managed for several years. He later managed our Hangar and supported our maintenance team and was also in charge of spare pafts procurement as Technical Director. During his tenure Mr. Samir was also part of the team which prepared and sat in WFP audits until the company was successfully accepted as a WFP service provider.
